Float switch
Float switch MS1 Ex is the ideal solution to control liquids with limited switching space in potentially explosive atmospheres classified Zone 0, 1 and 2, for example in rafineries, gas stations and sewage works. MS1 Ex meets the latest requirements of EC directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX) and the international directive IECEx, which must be respected by applications in potentially explosive areas. In accordance with the licence SEV 18 ATEX 0143 and IECEx SEV 18.0015 the float switch MS1 Ex may be used in zone 0, zone 1 and zone 2 (Cl.1 Div.1*) as well as in gas groups IIA, II B and IIC, where an explosion hazard exists due to combustible materials in temperature classes T1 to T6 (80°C/176°F). Always connect through safety barrier relay. The IECEx standard is recognized by 33 countries. Including Canada (CANC/IEC) and the US (NEMA).
